Primary Schooling
The Springfield Anglican College Early Years and Primary School teaching and learning program is designed to create a warm and welcoming environment where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their full potential. Our dedicated team of educators understand the importance of forming strong teacher-student relationships to build trust and create a positive atmosphere for learning.
We ensure that each student’s learning journey is tailored to their identified strengths and needs. By focusing on the holistic development of each child, we nurture their intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
Throughout the Early Years and Primary stages of schooling, we lay a strong emphasis on developing a solid foundation in literacy and numeracy. Through engaging and interactive activities, we foster a love for reading, writing, and mathematical thinking. We encourage an innovative approach to learning, encouraging our students to explore and apply their skills and knowledge across various disciplines. Students are also encouraged to further develop personal strengths by participating in our comprehensive Student Life program, catering to Creative Arts, Sports, Academic Extension and Enrichment Clubs and Activities.
Secondary Schooling
From Years 7 through to 12, students are encouraged to take an active role in their own learning and flourish with greater agency and emphasis on self-efficacy.
Our secondary students are encouraged to continue to be curious, and through their participation in the College’s extensive Student Life program, seek out new experiences while also deepening their understanding and knowledge. Technology is an essential part of life, and we utilise it to enhance learning, challenge students’ thinking and broaden their world view. From smartboards to online learning platforms, technology helps to enhance the learning experience that prepares our students for the future.
