Our sports program caters to all students and provides a fantastic opportunity for students to engage in physical activity, build teamwork skills, and develop their athletic abilities.

We encourage our students to be good team players, show respect to their opponents, and always demonstrate good sportsmanship. Our sports program instils these values in our students and teaches them how to win and lose gracefully.

On the Secondary Campus, students compete in The Greater Brisbane Conference (GBC) on Saturdays across AFL, Basketball, Indoor Cricket, Netball, Soccer, Touch Football, and Volleyball.

On the Primary Campus, students focus on learning fundamental skills, rules, and having fun. They can participate in Saturday sports fixtures as part of the GBC Primary competition. Students play in mixed teams representing each age group in AFL, Basketball, Indoor Cricket, Netball, Soccer, and Touch Football.

Students in both Primary and Secondary also competed in three inter-school carnivals: Swimming, Cross Country, and Athletics.

Our experienced and qualified teachers and coaches are dedicated to helping our students develop their skills and reach their full potential. Those athletes who want to excel are encouraged to focus on their conditioning, training, and skill development. Our students are supported to follow representative sports pathways for identified Queensland School Sports. The College is involved in Central Comets (district) and Metropolitan West (regional) teams.

In addition to our competitive sports program, The Springfield Anglican College also offers recreational sports activities for students who want to participate in sports for fun and fitness, including Mountain Bike Club, Fitness Club, and Social Tennis Club.
