Our teaching team is back in the classroom, preparing for another exciting year! We are delighted to welcome our new Deputy Principal, Peter Westhead and Director of Student Life, Sarah Ferguson. We also extend a very warm welcome to our new teachers, educators, and support staff joining our College community this year who bring a wealth of experience, strategic vision, and a passion for excellence to our College community.
About Mr Peter Westhead
Peter has extensive experience in senior leadership roles at schools in England and Australia, most recently as the Director of People and Culture at Westbourne Grammar School in Victoria. His fervent belief is that everybody can grow, irrespective of their starting point, whether they are students or staff. Peter looks forward to utilising his expertise in pedagogy, human resource management, strategy development, building staff capacity, and supporting staff as they coach, mentor and lead others in his new role.
About Miss Sarah Ferguson
Sarah is an experienced Performing Arts leader and educator, highly skilled in Music curriculum and development, Pastoral Care leadership, and the development of Co-Curricular Programs. In addition to a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education from The University of Queensland, Sarah has a Masters in Education – Leadership and Management from Queensland University of Technology. She comes to TSAC from St Luke’s Anglican School in Bundaberg. Sarah believes a holistic approach to education, seamlessly integrating curriculum, co-curricular and student care, is integral to supporting students to be their best.
