The intermediate 1st boys travelled to Sheldon College and won 120-8. Outstanding performances were recognised by Eli McGrath and Max Stuart, both whom have experience of playing at a MET West level.

Netball

On Saturday, TSAC travelled to Sheldon College for round 5 of the GBC competition.  Out Year 3/4 Red team played a fantastic game against Sheldon, they displayed exceptional teamwork and are continually improving their netball skills each week.  The Year 3/4 Blue took the court shortly after against Redeemer, they demonstrated fantastic defence and attack skills and are continuing to improve each week.

Our Year 5/6 Red team showcased their attack skills against Sheldon and are working well together as a team to make improvements in defence.  The Year 5/6 Blues dominated against Redeemer college, the team went out hard in the first quarter and maintained this for the duration of the game.  Our Year 5/6 White team had a tough match against Redeemer, however they were strong in defence and continually worked together throughout the game.

Great work to all teams on the weekend. We look forward to our next fixture at this week’s home game at TSAC.

AFL

On the AFL field, both teams had their games scheduled for 8:50am. The 5/6 team showed great spirit to back up after the year 6 camp. Sadly, Staines were too strong for our eldest students, walking away with a dominant win. Year 5/6 will return next week well rested and ready to compete for their final round on the 16th of March.

Year 3/4 struggled last week however their game against Redeemer was a different story, using lessons from last week to improve their performance, they had a strong win. We hope the Year 3/4 team can carry the momentum into their final week of GBC fixtures.

Next week TSAC will stay at home and play their final round on the 16th of March. We look forward to finishing the season strong.
