GBC Secondary College Sport
TSAC had five teams who progressed through to finals that were held at Sheldon College on Saturday 23rd March. Our Intermediate First Boys AFL were crowned the 2024 premiers winning an outstanding 119-7 against Sheldon. Ms Creati quoted “it was a great team performance and everyone stood up when it counted”. The boys exposure to club AFL was evident in their skill, tactical and physical performance, well done boys. In the Senior First Girls AFL game, the team unfortunately lost 67-13 vs Redeemer. The Intermediate First Girls AFL had a nail biting final against Faith Lutheran College narrowly losing 29-21. The girls gained many points in the 4th quarter however it was too late to take the win. Lastly, in Basketball, the Intermediate Seconds Girls Basketball lost 8-16 vs Staines Memorial College and the Senior Firsts Girls Basketball lost 67-9 vs Sheldon.
