GBC Secondary

Last weekend saw TSAC host our good friends from Rivermount College and new friends from Staines Memorial College for round three fixtures. It was another fantastic morning of GBC competition with football and touch football being played at the Springfield Central Sports Complex and volleyball and basketball being played on Secondary Campus. Even with our senior teams depleted due to students competing at the Qld Volleyball Seniors Schools Cup on the Gold Coast, all of our teams played extremely well, coming away with excellent wins across most fixtures.

Again we were very fortunate to have Our Parent Sport Supporters Group, lead by Warren Newble and Rich Bannah, provide wonderful hospitality to our college community and visitors. We very much appreciate the efforts they go to ensure that everyone is well fed and a warm and welcoming atmosphere is set for the day.

This weekend sees teams travel to Redeemer Lutheran College for round four fixtures. We wish all players, coaches and coordinators the very best for their remaining games.

GBC Primary

Last weekend, saw the TSAC Primary GBC  teams travel to Rivermount College, Yatala for what was a competitive day of Football and Basketball matches. All three of our Primary Football teams played out tight matches, with special mention going to our 3/4 team who came away with a 5-3 victory.

On the Basketball courts our 3/4 Red team came up against a strong Rivermount outfit who pushed them all the way in what was a high scoring affair with great teamwork again being shown. The 3/4 Blue team showed a strong performance with a number of players putting forward their best performance of the term so far. On the other courts, both our 5/6 teams played quality TSAC basketball with the Red team building on their performances from the week before and the Blue team showing great improvement after a good week at training.

Good luck to all teams ahead of this weekend, with matches to be hosted at TSAC across Primary and Secondary campuses.
