Congratulations to all teams that represented the College over the weekend.

Saturday’s JTAS fixtures saw a mixture of results for the 3 hockey teams, whilst both cricket fixtures were cancelled due to overnight rain making pitch conditions unsafe for play.

The TSAC White hockey team secured their first win of the season, with a thrilling 7 – 6 win over Cannon Hill Anglican College. The TSAC Blue hockey team were also involved in a high scoring clash, finishing its match against Rivermount College level at 5 – 5. The TSAC Red team went down 5 – 1 in its match against Redeemer Lutheran College.

In GBC Sport, TSAC were hosts to Sheldon College. With double points at stake the atmosphere at the College was amazing.

The Girls Football teams came away with a clean sweep of wins. A special to Georgie Parfrement for scoring an incredible free kick for the Firsts and to Mackenzie Brook for scoring 5 goals in the Intermediate’s 12 – 1 win. The Firsts Boys Volleyball team had an outstanding 3-0 victory and the Seconds Boys Volleyball team played a very intense close game eventually losing 26-24 in the deciding set losing 2-1 overall.

The Junior Cricket team excelled once again with an amazing 181 points to negative 13 points. However, the team of the week, showing persistence and determination is the Intermediate B Girls Basketball team scoring the winning point in the last 10 seconds of the game, securing a 17-16 win.

Overall, it was an enjoyable weekend of sport for TSAC.
