GBC Secondary
GBC Secondary had a BYE round.
GBC Primary
Touch Football
On Saturday the 20th of May, TSAC traveled to Staines Memorial College for their fourth round of GBC. Our Year 3/4 Blue Team were first to take the field against River Mount. TSAC continues to learn the fundamentals of the game and improvements are made each and every week. River Mount was too strong for our Blue team this week. TSAC 3/4 Red played against Staines in our final round at 9:40am. It was great to see some real competitors come out for this game. Staines were overall victors but TSAC showed great resilience going try for try early in the game. We continue to work on the basics at training and seeing them transfer into games is wonderful. We look forward to our student’s improvement every single week.
Both the year 5/6 teams played at 8:50am. TSAC Red played a well-versed River Mount Navy. With River Mount running away the win. TSAC Red continue to show signs of improvement and although despondent in defeat, students were still showing incredible sportsmanship. TSAC 5/6 Blue played against River Mount Green. This River Mount team although not as strong as Navy were still great competitors. TSAC Blue continue to follow fundamentals of the game and are showing great results for their efforts at training.
Next week TSAC travels to Redeemer Lutheran College for round 5. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
Indoor Cricket
TSAC Traveled once again to Ozsports in Springwood to play their GBC Indoor Cricket fixture. Both the Year 3/4 team and 5/6 team played against Redeemer Lutheran College. All students showed excellent sportsmanship and represented the college respectfully within the greater community. Both teams played at 8:00am our 3/4 team had a dominant win over their opponents. We’re excited to see our younger students continue to improve at training. Our year 5/6 team had a tough game against RLC Gold sadly losing the fixture. I want to thank all those students who continue to show up every single week showing commitment to their sporting team.
We look forward to week 5 of the GBC Fixture good luck to both our cricket teams next week.
