GBC Secondary
Last weekend saw TSAC host our fierce yet friendly Rivals from Ambrose Treacy and Brigidine Colleges and a few teams from Staines Memorial College, for round five GBC fixtures. In what would be our final hosting duties for the year, it was a fantastic morning of GBC competition with football and touch football being played at the Springfield Central Sports Complex and volleyball and basketball being played on Secondary Campus. It was the last game in TSAC colours for many of the students in our senior teams. Terrier pride shone brightly with all senior teams playing their hearts out for each other. It was wonderful to see such wonderful support for our seniors across both venues.
We have again this year been extremely fortunate to have Our Parent Sport Supporters Group, lead by Warren Newble and Rich Bannah, provide wonderful hospitality to our college community and visitors. Last Saturday was particularly special with beautiful fanfare ushering our seniors onto the court and playing field. We very much appreciate the efforts Warren, Rich and their helpers go to ensure that everyone is well fed and a warm and welcoming atmosphere is set for the day.

GBC Primary
In round 4 of the GBC Primary fixtures all TSAC teams travelled out to Sheldon College for another round of competitive matches. Both year 5/6 Football teams had great mornings with strong performances against SMC and RMC. Both 5/6 Blue and Red have now built nicely into the season and are continuing to improve each week. Our 3/4 Football team also come away much improved in what was a tight game against RMC.
Over on the basketball courts our 3/4 teams both had competitive games with Elijah from the 3/4 Red team being awarded player of the game by the opposition. Well done Elijah. Both 5/6 basketball teams played out tough tight matches with the 5/6 Red team continuing to put together a strong season, whilst our 5/6 blue team continued to improve in what was a physical game against a bigger Sheldon College.
Good luck to all teams this weekend as we head to Redeemer Lutheran College for our matches.
