JTAS – all Saturday’s fixtures were cancelled due to the wet weather

Congratulations to all teams that competed this weekend. In GBC Sport, it was a successful weekend with TSAC  losing only one fixture. With Basketball and the Firsts Cricket washed out, there was much anticipation for the remaining fixtures. The Junior Girls Football team needed to win against an undefeated Redeemer team, who had not conceded a goal all season. With six minutes remaining, TSAC scored the only goal of the game to place them in contention for the GBC Grand Final. The Intermediates remain undefeated with a convincing 5 – 1 win and continue to entertain the crowd with attacking football.

In Volleyball, TSAC secured 5 wins out of 6, with the Seconds securing a 2 sets to 1 win and the Firsts playing some amazing volleyball winning 3 sets to 1. The Intermediate A team showed resilience and determination in their fixture. Level at 1 – 1 and down 24 – 9 in the final set, they came close before losing 26 – 24.

The weekend was capped with an amazing score form the Junior Indoor Cricket team who scored a record 190 runs to Redeemer’s 59.

In Equestrian, the TSAC & Emmaus College combined Interschool Show Horse & Combined Training Day was held at Park Ridge. Thank you Mr Holmes for coming along on the day, the students enjoyed your visit. Our team is also very grateful for all of the hard work our wonderful coach Karen Morris does organising & planning to make this day possible.

Three of our teams riders competed yesterday, all with fantastic results.
