GBC Secondary
With so much happening in GBC sports, it is hard to believe it is only the end of week 4. As we approach the final four rounds of the Autumn season, preparations for out upcoming Winter season will be underway in the coming weeks. Our boys intermediate touch teams are within touching distance of finals pending on their attendance at training and performance over the upcoming weeks against Redeemer and Rivermount. Despite our Junior soccer girls having a 2-1 loss, they positive still sit 2nd of the table. Our senior teams in netball are growing from strength to strength based on their consistent training approach and standards set by their coaches. Lastly, our indoor cricket boys were exposed to a strong Faith opposition which tested their adaptability and mental strength. This weekend we have a BYE however it is expected that all students attend training as normal.
GBC Cross Country championships will take place on Thursday 18th May at Redeemer Lutheran College. We extend our best wishes to our team and staff for the championships.

Touch Football
On Saturday the 13th of May TSAC traveled to Yatala to play their third round of GBC Sport. We thank River Mount for hosting this week. Our 3/4 Blue team were first to take the field against Sheldon. Year 4’s showed great leadership for our young year 3’s in the game. It was great to see the skills that have been practiced in training converted to game play.
A massive shout out to our year 3/4 Blue team players who were willing to stay back and support the Red team. Thank you for showing amazing TSAC spirt. 3/4 Red team played against River Mount. River Mount was strong opponents for our youngest students. However, TSAC showed amazing spirit and competed hard.
Our Year 5/6 teams continue to improve. Both Year 5/6 teams played against Sheldon. TSAC Blue was dominant in their performance running away as convincing victors. 5/6 Red had a closer score line however was able to squeeze away with a tight win against their opponents. We hope our 5/6 teams can continue to train hard, as results on the field will only come with hard work.
Congratulation to all TSAC teams. Next week we travel to Staines, updates about the draw will be posted on Nexus later in the week.

Indoor Cricket
The TSAC 3/4 Indoor Cricket team showed great determination in both contests this weekend against Sheldon and Redeemer Lutheran College. Having two fixtures and 4 players, the team really bonded together, put together some great batting partnerships and demonstrated great skill on the attack. Thank you to Saienna for helping out this weekend, it is fantastic to see the TSAC spirit on full display! Congratulations on 2 incredible matches. A big thank you to Coach Mel, Kyle and our supporters for teaching and cheering us on, we are incredible lucky to have you in our corner!
It was a very tough contest between Sheldon and our TSAC 5/6 Indoor Cricket team. We had a great turn out boasting a full squad of athletes, absolutely raring to go! It was an exciting game that went right down to the wire. Our Terriers were piercing the gaps and finding the nets, earning extra runs, while Sheldon was under the pump early in the attack. At the innings crossover, the roles were reversed, and Sheldon supporters saw their team get some great batting in early. At stumps, there were only a few runs in it. Both teams displayed great competitive spirit, sportsmanship and some fantastic cricket was witness by all!
