Scholarship opportunities at The Springfield Anglican College are carefully designed to offer students financial support in a number of fields. We provide students with a vibrant, dynamic learning environment where they receive the assistance they need to achieve their ambitions.

Academic Scholarships 

Academic scholarships at The Springfield Anglican College are merit-based and determined through an Edutest examination.

The criteria for academic scholarships are:

  • Edutest exam results
  • School test reports and NAPLAN results
  • Awards received for academic achievements

Application Process

Applicants must complete an online application for enrolment ($100) and submit an academic scholarship application. They must register for the Edutest entrance exam and complete the exam on the dates specified.

Senior General Excellence Scholarship (Years 10-12 Entry)

The Senior General Excellent Scholarship is for students from other schools who wish to enrol at TSAC. These are three-year partial scholarships for students entering Years 10 to 12.

The criteria for academic scholarships are:

  • School test results and reports
  • Academic awards

Application Process

Students must apply for the scholarship through an online application for enrolment ($100) and submit the Senior General Excellence Scholarship Application Form.

General Excellence Scholarship (Years 7-9 Entry)

The General Excellence Scholarship is open to students who demonstrate an exceptional capacity for leadership, academic achievements, community achievements and sporting achievements. This scholarship is for students applying to TSAC and enrolment for the scholarship program is open throughout the year.

Criteria for the Excellence Scholarship:

  • School reports
  • Letters of reference from teachers, coaches or co-curricular tutors
  • Awards and certificates

Application Process

Applicants must complete an online application for enrolment ($100).

Creative Arts Scholarship (Music & Dance)

Creative Arts scholarships at TSAC are awarded to students who demonstrate their ability in music and dance. Our team of experienced, qualified teachers works closely with students to provide them with an unparalleled Creative Arts education that provides students with experience in percussion ensembles, concert bands and dance troupes.

Criteria for our Dance Scholarship are:

  • Prepare and perform an audition piece
  • Letters of reference from teachers, coaches or co‐curricular tutors
  • Awards and certificates

Criteria for Music Scholarship:

  • Prepare and perform an audition piece
  • Letters of reference from teachers, coaches or co‐curricular tutors
  • Copies of awards and certificates

Application Process

Students must complete an online application for enrolment ($100) and submit the dance scholarship form or music scholarship form.

Sports Scholarship

Sports scholarships at TSAC are open to athletes in a number of sports. The Springfield Anglican College provides athletes with access to the Greater Brisbane Conference and a number of inter-school sporting competitions.

Application criteria for Sports Scholarships:

  • Reference from sports coach/teacher

Application Process

All applicants must apply by completing the online Application for Enrolment ($100) and completing the sports scholarship application form.

Church Scholarship 

Students who demonstrate their commitment to Christian values through participation in Church and parish activities can apply for a Church scholarship.

Criteria for Church Scholarships:

  • Non-TSAC Students must complete an online application for enrolment ($100)
  • Record of involvement in a local Anglican Parish
  • Reference from Parish Priest

Application Process

Students must apply by completing the application for enrolment and submitting a church scholarship form.
