New Sports Centre
The Springfield Anglican College is proud to announce plans to develop a new Sports Centre, the last building to be constructed as part of the College’s 2018-2022 Master Plan.
The Sports Centre will allow both our Primary and Secondary students to train and compete in a professional standard facility. It will feature two indoor sports courts and three additional classrooms and will also be used to host whole College events, such as assemblies and awards ceremonies.
As a College, we encourage students to participate in school sports as part of a well-rounded, holistic education and an active and healthy lifestyle. The new facility represents an investment in our students’ health and well-being, as well as teaching and learning opportunities.
The College has enjoyed strong enrolment growth in recent years, and the new Sports Centre will assist the College in accommodating that growth. The planning for this project is almost at the end of its detailed design phase, with construction hoping to commence next year, coinciding with the College’s 25th Anniversary.
