In Primary schooling, we place great importance on wellbeing and the nurturing of the whole child. Every student’s social and emotional wellbeing is supported through programs designed to support positive personal development and supportive relationships.
We recognize that every students’ emotional wellbeing has a direct impact upon their intellectual growth and development. We understand that if students feel happy, safe and supported, then they can achieve their full potential.
Our staff, both teaching and support, work hard to ensure they develop positive relationships with the students in their care. Getting to know individual student strengths, interests and individual needs enables staff to connect with students and support them through their educational and personal development journey. We acknowledge and greatly value the partnership between home and school and encourage parents to connect strongly with the school and their child’s teachers.
As a community guided by the Anglican faith, students are supported through an established pastoral care program that nurtures personal development, self-awareness, positive relationships and tolerance of others. The traditional values of faith, hope, love, courage, community and justice are incorporated into the College culture of supporting students to build upon character traits that will help define them as strong, independent, caring individuals.
