Dear Parents

The College has commenced the process of developing its new Strategic Plan.  Parents are considered important stakeholders in our College and last week I invited all parents to contribute their thoughts, ideas and hopes in a short feedback survey.  Parent feedback is important so that we can effectively plan for the future of our students and the programs and facilities we offer.  I thank those parents who have already responded to the survey and encourage those who are yet to complete the survey to do so by Monday 7 June.

Please refer to the Strategic Plan Parent Survey Link on Nexus

Primary Parents are reminded that students on the Primary Campus are supervised until 3:30pm in the afternoon.  Primary Parents can avoid the afternoon pick-up traffic congestion if they delay their collection time until after 3:15pm.  If you choose to pick your child up during peak time, please be considerate of others, follow the clearly marked arrows on the road and do not block through traffic in the carpark.  There is a large window of time for afternoon pick-up on Primary and peak-time congestion can be avoided.  Similarly, on the Secondary Campus, peak time can be avoided by collecting students after 3:30pm.

The Year 6 refurbishment is well underway.  The old classrooms and walls have been completely removed in preparation for the new construction and the project is on schedule.

I would like to congratulate our Community for the successful Secondary Campus Open Evening.  Events like this require lots of support and I would like to acknowledge the time and effort of our staff (teaching, grounds and maintenance, café, enrolments, marketing and administration), our students, Creative Arts ensembles, art displays, clubs and activities displays, sport displays and the Parents and Friends Association for making the evening successful.  The warmth of the TSAC Community was most certainly felt by all our visitors on the chilly evening.

My very best wishes

Steven Morris.
