From the Principal
Welcome to Term 2. The sudden COVID lock-down at the end of last term took us all by surprise and it is wonderful to have the students back on campus this week. A very special welcome to our new students and their families to our TSAC community.
There has been some relaxation of COVID restrictions. Please remember that we still need to observe COVID-safe practices and that space is a major determinant of how we can accommodate parents at our events. Our campuses are different from each other so there may be some inconsistencies as to the number of people who can be accommodated at events on each campus.
That being said, the greatest event on the calendar this term is the P&F 80’s Trivia Night on Friday 7 May. It will be held in the Kurrajong Centre for Senior Learning on the Secondary Campus. This is the first time in well over 12 months that we have been able to hold an event like this on campus and the P&F have been working hard to ensure that the evening will be a fabulous night out. Please make sure you book soon as places are limited. To book your ticket, please click here.
Earlier this week we held our Inter-Clan Cross Country Carnival. With both primary and secondary students together for this event, the excitement was infectious. Clan rivalry was at its best and the day was full of participation, spirit and fun with Clan McDuff emerging as the victors.
Today we marked ANZAC Day with special services on both campuses of the College. It was also a delight to welcome members of our Defence Force families to acknowledge their service to our country. On Sunday (Anzac Day) our College will be represented at the Dawn Service by our Year 9 students. Due to COVID restrictions, other TSAC students wishing to attend will need to remain in the public area with parents. All students attending the Dawn Service should be wearing their full formal College Uniform.
My very best wishes
