Congratulations to all twenty-one GBC teams that travelled to Faith Lutheran College, Plainlands over the weekend. 

The Girls Volleyball teams all won 3 sets to 0, except for the Intermediate B team, who narrowly lost 2 sets to 1. The Intermediate A and Firsts Boys Soccer teams continued their winning streaks, with  4 – 0 wins in both games. The Junior A Boys Soccer team managed to hold on to win 2 – 1, securing their first win of the GBC Campaign. In Girls Touch, the Firsts narrowly missed out with a 7 – 6 loss, whilst the Seconds secured a commanding 5 – 2 win. In Boys Basketball, the Firsts entertained the crowd with some exciting basketball, winning 43 – 22. However, the team of the day is awarded to the Junior A Boys Basketball, who led from the start with an impressive 51 – 5 win.

Overall, it was an impressive weekend of sport for TSAC with thirteen wins, one draw and seven losses.

In Saturday’s JTAS Sport fixtures, the JTAS White Basketball team secured its first win of the season, coming from behind at half time to secure a 15 – 12 win over West Moreton Anglican College. A special mention also to the JTAS Sky Blue Basketball team, who produced an inspiring comeback from 18 – 4 down late in the third quarter to narrowly lose 22 – 18 in their game against West Moreton Anglican College.
