Outdoor Education

Outdoor Education is a fundamental aspect of the holistic nature of education at The Springfield Anglican College. We offer a variety of exciting opportunities across all year levels, allowing students the opportunity to take part in and experience activities that challenge and push their potential outside of the classroom setting.

Year level camps start in Year 3 and each year a new adventure and experience is offered to ensure that students can take part in activities that are age appropriate. Locations are chosen specifically to create unique challenges, from Noosa North Shore Retreat, where days are filled with water based activities including surfing, to bushwalking, mountain biking, skill based activities in different locations throughout Southeast Queensland.

Outdoor education provides important opportunities for character development in our students. These experiences will take them out of their comfort zone and rewards them with time for self-discovery and reflection, as well as fun and adventure. Students are encouraged to establish new friendships, strengthen bonds and create lifelong memories.
