Student Wellbeing

The staff at The Tiny Tartan Kindergarten understand and recognise that parents play a vital role in their child’s early years’ development.  The College and staff adopt an inclusive environment that builds a respectful and trusting relationship between home and school.

The holistic perspective on learning and teaching promotes social, emotional, physical and cognitive well being. At The Springfield Anglican College, this begins in The Tiny Tartan Kindergarten.

We recognize that every students’ emotional well-being has a direct impact upon their intellectual growth and development. We understand that if students feel happy, safe and supported, then they can achieve their full potential.

As a community guided by the Anglican faith, students are supported through an established pastoral care program that nurtures personal development, self-awareness, positive relationships and tolerance of others. The traditional values of faith, hope, love, courage, community and justice are incorporated into the College culture of supporting students to build upon character traits that will help define them as strong, independent, caring individuals.
